A message from pastor

Dear Beloved in Christ,

Please, use your Jesus voice.

I appreciate when I hear someone say to a child, “Please, use your indoor voice.”   It usually means to lower the volume or speak softer or maybe in a kinder way. I think using our Jesus voice is a good thing for us to consider during Lent. Sometimes people misinterpret our meaning or attitude because of the volume and tone of our voice. Our intention is not to sound, act, or be harsh, but that’s how it seems. Perhaps we are in a hurry or stressed or tired-maybe even annoyed-but I know you all have a heart for and of Jesus!

As a disciple of his, you have a chance daily to show him to others, to both his followers and to those who don’t know him or, quite sadly, to those who have not had a good experience with some who call themselves “Christian.”

During this Lenten Season, let’s speak with our Jesus voice, act with our Jesus actions, love with our Jesus heart. It could make

all the difference in someone’s life as you show Jesus to

someone/everyone you encounter!

+May God bless your Lenten Journey with Jesus+

In Christ’s love,

The Rev. Carol B. Kehler, Pastor
